Clove Bud (Syzgium aromaticum)

Description
A long living evergreen tree with glossy green leaves and lovely rosy pink buds. The buds turn into fragrant red flowers and purple fruits.
Characteristics
A strong, spicy and penetrating oil with a fresh and fruity top note.
Oils to Blend with
Versatile in blending, classic blends include with Orange and Cinnamon. Clove will blend well with most citrus oils and florals as well as clary sage, lemongrass and sandalwood. In Egyptian times it was used in perfumes and in low dose can be found in many of todays sophisticated perfumery blends.
