Description
A wonderfully aromatic tree which grows in conical shape in meditteranean regions. Beautiful reddish yellow wood... simly brushing past releases the familar and refreshing scent of cypress. Cypress is typically grown near cemetries. 
Characteristics
Frankincense is spicy but not over powering, it is a cleaner and less medicinal scent like pine and has wonderful balsamic, smoky undertones 
Oils to Blend with
Blends beautifully with citruses and other woods as well as frankincense, clary sage, lavender, cardamom, marjoram, geranium, neroli, black pepper and benzoin.

Precautions
The effects of varicose veins are well documented but over usage of the oils in massage could be too heavy. As with all essential oils we recommend against their use in pregnancy, but cypress regulated the menstral cycle and therefore should definately be avoided.
