Description
Growing to about 6ft, Juniperberry is an evergreen shrub. The shurb can grow to around 30ft when left alone in the wild. The shurb is found in many parts of the world and has needle type leaves with greenish-yellow flowers and small berries
Characteristics

Clean, fresh turpentine like top notes with a smoky, balsamic, woody and peppery undertone. Juniperberry is a refreshing oil.
Oils to Blend with

Juniperberry blends well with other woods and citruses and also with benzoin, bergamot, cypress, frankincense, geranium, grapefruit, orange, lemongrass, lime, melissa, rosemary and sandalwood.

Precautions
Prolonged use may over stimulate the kidneys. It should be avoided in cases of severe kidney disease or other inflammatory conditions. As with all essential oils we recommend avoiding during pregnancy and as Juniperberry is an emmenagogue it is totally to be avoided during pregnancy.

 
Appearance:  colourless or pale yellow
Odour: clear fresh, slightly woody aroma
Safety: should not be used by those with Kidney disease.  Use during pregnancy is not advised.
