Cold pressed from the seed. Borage oil is the richest source of gamma linolenic acid (GLA) containing up to 25%, which is more than twice as much as occurs in Evening Primrose oil. Clinical trials have shown that GLA helps to encourage healthy, mobile joints, and used regularly on the skin it helps to soften fine lines and wrinkles. Add 10% - 15% to other carriers to give blends a boost, or use it undiluted as an intensive night-time treatment

Golden yellow or colourless. A British botonist first recorded Jojoba in 1822. Today it is one of the most highly prized oils in Health and Beauty. Imported directly from Argentina this oil is great value. A liquid wax extracted from the jojoba bean, chemically very similar to human sebum so particularly suitable for dry skin conditions. The unrefined oil is a golden yellow. It is also available pasteurised and colourless. Has the ability to dissolve sebum as it acts as an emulsifier, unclogging pores. Improves the appearance of acne skin. In first 18 months of shelf life has anti-inflammatory properties particular suitable for use with baby skin and nappy rash.

Sweet, Fatty and Nutty. Produced from the macadamia nut. Refine oil is pale yellow with no aroma. Contains high amounts of mono-unsaturated fatty acid called palmitoleic acid, not found in other plant oils but found in sebum, giving this oil a natural affinity with the skin. Emollient good for dry, mature and aging skins. Do not use if there is a history of nut allergy.

Light. Sweet and Nutty. Almond (sweet) is one of the most commonly used cold pressed carrier oils. It is known for its revitalizing and gently soothing properties. Warm pressed from the kernal of the sweet almond tree, may also be cold pressed. Contains Vitamins A, B1, B2, B6 and E and is rich in protein. High content of fatty acids. Pale yellow in colour. One of the most popular aromatherapy oils as it has a high therapeutic and nutritive value. Soothing and calming helps relieve itching.

Derived from the seeds. Dark orange in colour with a thick rich texture and distinctive odour. Contains minerals, proteins, vitamins. Contra indicated if there is a history of allergy. For 35 years we have endeavoured to create products which are as natural as possible and as long lived as practical.  After all it is possible to add essential oils to cream from the fridge to create a nourishing moisture cream but it will last you only a few days. Thats where the word cream comes from.  Thanks to modern developments in cosmetic science our Organic bases of white lotion, moisture cream, shampoo and showel gel/bodywash and body butter are made almost entirely with natural products.  They are parabens free but still have a respectable shelf life.
When we say organic we mean it but that should not be at any price.  Where the organically farmed oil is more expensive we list the conventionally farmed oil as an alternative,
